My children and I loved seeing John at Pizza Hut. We didn’t know him personally but he was always kind and friendly and obviously a very nice person. Condolences to his family.

I didn’t know John too well, but I did know he was a good, loving, kind man. I know he loved his son and his family very much. I hurt for his son, who witnessed what happened. I hurt for his family who lost him. And I hurt for him to be taken so soon. RIP John. You will forever be my uncle Rob.

Rob, the first time I met you was at Coachman’s restaurant. I was working behind the bar when you walked in. In your hand was a single rose. You had come in to give the rose to my sister, Mandy. From that moment you won my heart. Soon you began working with us at the restaurant. Some time later, you and my sister were blessed with the greatest gift this life can offer, a son, which bonded us together as a family forever. My heart is truly saddened by the loss of you, and I am desperately heartbroken for John. He loves you so much, as I know you loved him. I pray you are at peace Rob. I know, if it’s possible, you will continue to watch over John. Your love will give him the strength he needs to continue on and to grow as a man. The lessons you taught him during these past 21 years will remain with him forever. With much love and gratitude, Marni
