I remember Joyce being the life of any get-together. She had a dear heart and a wonderful sense of humor, as did her late husband. I also remember her commitment to her church. My heart goes out to all of her family. Bless you all.

To the Family of Joyce - I would like to extend my sympathy at this time. I don't have any stories to share except that I remember Joyce from Hyde family functions over the years. My grandmother was Hazel Hyde Johnson and my mother was Virginia Johnson Tiede Maas. It seems that another family member will now be missing and it makes me sad. Please accept my condolences. I did not have the opportunity to spend much time with Joyce, but my mother, the late Helen Scribner, did. What I learned from my mother's experience with Joyce was that Joyce was a very loving person who deeply cared for her church and her fellow church members. She was a woman who lived her faith in all that she did. The United Methodist Church will miss her energy and her living testimony. Thanks Joyce for being such a good friend to my mother and many others. God Bless.
