"Phil" Grant was not only my former father-in-law, he was one of the kindest, most intelligent human beings that I have ever known. He possessed a sharp wit and a competitive, yet gentle, spirit. Condolences to his family and friends, and may he forever rest in peace with his beloved "Dottie".

My memories of uncle Phil center mostly around the trip the Grants made from Batavia to our house on Long Island to go to the 1964 Worlds' Fair. Between the Bergers and the Grants there wasn't a flat surface that wasn't used for sleeping. It was great to be a part of such a huge gathering.
I took comfort that he passed with his loving dog by his side. It was a good end for a fine man.
