Obituary of Betty J. Showler

Batavia - Betty J. Showler, 83, of Batavia, an employee at Angelica Textile Services, in Batavia, prior to her retirement, died Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Batavia Health Care Center.

Mrs. Showler was born August 15, 1934 in Batavia, the daughter of the late Albert H. and Lila Fern (Johnson) Showler.

She loved to garden and enjoyed the flowers that she grew.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandra L. (William) Chupp of Batavia; her grandson, Michael Chupp of Batavia and several nieces and nephews. 

She was the sister of the late Ronald Robert Showler and Theodore Marvin Showler.  

Friends may call on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Bohm-Calarco-Smith Funeral Home, 308 E. Main St., Batavia.  Graveside services will be at 9:00 a.m. Monday, May 21, 2018 at Maple Lawn Cemetery, 12 Maple Ave., in Elba.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crossroads House, P.O.
