Obituary of Kathleen M. Shultz

Kathleen M. Shultz, "Cookie", 69, of Byron, NY, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Premier Genesee Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, in Batavia.

Kathleen was born January 4, 1949 in Fulton, a daughter of the late James and Beatrice (Denny) Hicks.

Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, woodworking, sports, nature and drawing. She attended Calvary Westside Chapel and was a factory worker at Delco Products in Rochester.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandra (Michael) O'Grady of Holley; a son, Vernon (Christine) Howard of Elba; a step-son. Clifford Shultz of Pembroke; grandchildren, Nicole, Brendan, Jackie, Maddi, Zachary, CJ and Christopher and brothers, sisters and several nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Gary L. Shultz, died July 17, 2006. Kathleen is predeceased by her brothers and sisters.

There are no prior calling hours. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia.  Kathleen will be laid to rest in Byron Cemetery, Byron.
