Obituary of Linda F. Michalak

 Albion - Linda F. Michalak, age 56, of Albion, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Linda was born April 18, 1962 in Batavia, a daughter of Donna Calnan Chamberlain of Albion and the late John C. Chamberlain, who passed away on April 18, 2018.

A member of Eagle Harbor United Methodist Church in Albion, Linda enjoyed baking, bowling and take car rides with her family. She was devoted to her family and loved being with her grandchildren.Linda worked in the cafeteria at the Oakfield-Alabama School District and for the Law Offices of Cropsey & Cropsey in Albion.

Surviving with her mother is her husband, Anthony E. Michalak, Jr., whom she married July 31, 1982; her children; Amanda (Justin) Metherall of West Bridgewater, Mallory Gallaway of Pembroke, Meghan Michalak of Cohasset, Massachusetts and Andrew Michalak of Oakfield; her beloved five grandchildren; John Casey and Benjamin Peter Metherall, Emma Faye, Harrison and Analeigh Gallaway; her sisters; Melissa Pahuta and Heather Chamberlain, both of Albion; her father-in-law and mother-in-law; Anthony E. (Marguerite) Michalak, Sr. of Alabama and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Avenue, Oakfield, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
