Helen (Kalina) Beyer

On October 14, 2018 at the age of 94.  Predeceased by her daughter, Vivian Chapell.  She is survived by her devoted husband Robert, son, Robert J. (Norma) Beyer, daughters, Doris (Jarl) Boyst and Deborah Tennity and son-in-law Lester H. “Terry” Chapell.  She also leaves 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  Helen was born in the Ukraine, met and married the love of her life in Germany during the war and enjoyed a marriage of 72 years.  She will always be remembered as a loving and caring person who was always there for friends and family, especially enjoying the children.  Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 17 from 6 to 8 pm and on Thursday October 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co., Funeral Home, 51 S. Lake Street Bergen, NY.  Her funeral mass will be held at St. Brigid’s Church in Bergen at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 19.  In lieu of flowers, donations made in her name, may be sent to Mary Cariola Children’s Center, 1000 Elmwood Ave., Suite 100, Rochester, NY 14620.
