I was going through some of my father’s (R.L. Richardson) stuff and found this picture of Don Thurau. My father (deceased 1971) was in the army with him in Germany in 1951. Just happened on the obituary and thought I could at least post the photo.
Condolences,
Brad Richardson

So sorry to hear about Don. He was always so funny and had such a quick smile. I know he will be missed.

I consider myself so fortunate to have gotten to know Don when I moved into Clinton Crossings. I felt so bad when I heard the sad news. He was such an interesting person, he would share his bird magazines with me and we had many interesting conversations. Although I haven't seen him since he and Marilyn moved I still think about him everytime I see an interesting bird. I am so very sorry for your loss.

To the family,
It was with great sadness that I heard that Don had passed. He was my first boss from age 15 to 25. I learned a lot from Don and the people at Fix Printing and I stayed in printing for an additional 29 years. Who knew that the delivery boy from Fix Printing would go on to work and lead at some of the most respected printers in the US. It was all because Don gave this snotty nose kid a chance. I truly appreciate it Don. You will be missed. As I live in New Hampshire now, I learned of Don's passing from his daughter Beth's niece, Katie, who I play volleyball with. What a small, small world. Rest in Peace, Don, and thank you for all you did for me, you were very instrumental in shaping my work ethic which helped me throughout my career.
