Obituary of Grace Rose Gerrard

Basom - Grace Rose Gerrard, 90, of Basom, passed away Wednesday, (November 21, 2018) at The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, in Batavia.

Ms. Gerrard was born August 10, 1928 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, a daughter of the late William and Lucy (Nedohin) Manghewsky.

Grace moved to the United States from Canada in 1961 and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are her children, Grant Gerrard of Wills Point, TX, Mark (Amy Murphy) Gerrard of West Falls, Cheryl Gerrard of Wills Point, TX, Sharon (Chris) Gerrard-Courson of Deerfield Beach, FL and Wendy (Robert) Boyd of Pendicton, British Columbia, Canada; sister, Connie (Barry) Campbell of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; a brother-in-law, Victor Phillips of Hamilton Ontario, Canada. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive.

She is predeceased by her sisters, Pauline (late Lloyd), Vera, Josie (late Wally), and Tillie.

There will be no visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Genesee Cancer Assistance, Inc., c/o UMMC, 127 North Street, Batavia, NY 14020, www.geneseecancerassistance.com/donate.
