To Those Who Are Registered to Receive My Condolences:
Carole was a talented and terrific teacher and director of drama presentations at Wyoming Central School when I first came to know her a little more than 45 years ago. From time to time, I had the chance to talk with her in subsequent years. I knew what she shared with me about her ministries. I considered her to be an important personal friend. We were colleagues at that school, where I primarily taught history classes. She was our top teacher of high school English courses.
Luckily, Carole and I shared a telephone conversation before tragedy struck by only a couple of weeks or more. Our mutual friend, Dave Almeter, had informed me that Carole was residing at a place in Batavia, New York. I sent her an email or two to which she was unable to respond. Now, I understand why she didn't answer them.
Carole had discussed with me possible plans to move to North Carolina to live with her sister and brother-in-law. As a person who always maintained her dignity and complete independence, Carole wanted to put off that move for as long as possible. Through an internet search, I found out exactly where she might be living in the near future. The spot in North Carolina was not extremely far away from where I presently live in Northeast Tennessee. My email messages related to that fact.
Carole lived a productive and giving life. She influenced me in positive ways. I am thankful that I got a chance to know her and to receive profound advice from her over a stretch of many years. There is not much that I can add in a meaningful way to express my sorrow for your loss.

I knew Carole for over 50 years. In the last several years I had talked with her
many times over the phone about her family history. She was always honest and
forthright to me about personal problems; and she cared a great deal about my
own difficulties in life. I will miss her conversations very much. She will be missed by
all of us who knew her.

I have known Carole my entire life. She was my mother's best friend and was there as I grew up and into adulthood. She was always fun to be with, and I enjoyed spending time with her. It saddens me to know that I won't have the opportunity to see her again. Rest in peace Carole. I will always keep my memories of you close.

We met Carole during her time at St. Paul's in Fort Erie and during one summer while she was ministering in Nakina Ontario in Diocese of Moosonee we traveled to join her and do some work with her ... including teaching Carole the art of canoeing ... after my husband Norm's passing we kept in touch and kept talking about "lunch" sometime ... I know I'll cherish my memories of Carole
Blessings to her family

I cleaned for carol.i first met her when she rented a house on lake Ontario in Olcott n.y. I believe it was about 2001-2002,I also believe she had just gotten Zeus, and she also married me to my husband.
She then moved to an apartment building in clarence/ lancaster.that was a 30-40 min drive for me but I like Carol very much and was there to help her. Then followed her to a mobile park in wights corners. After a little bit I think she was going to go to her sister's or someone down south? I ofter thought of her, wanted to see if she still lived there to see her again.i was sad to see this in the paper, I thought we had a great liking for each other. She did enjoy going out to eat, we did that a couple of times. Thank you for your friendship Carol. You are always in my heart. Much love to you.

Carole and I have been friends for nearly 70 years. Over the years, our lives moved in and out, but we always stayed in touch. When she lived near us ( which was most of the time), we often went to movies, out to dinner and just had a good time. I will miss her for the rest of my life. We understood each other as only good friends do. My sympathy to all of her family, as I know your lives will never be the same without her. I know she is with the angels now.
