My condolences to the family of our beloved neighbor and friend. Rose was a constant presence during my childhood and her amazing work ethic was an example to us all as she could be seen climbing ladders, painting the house, doing lawn work, shoveling snow... As late as last winter an acquaintance asked me who the little women was that he saw clearing the sidewalk every morning on East Main St. Blessings to you all. - Jim Morasco

My deepest sympathies go out to the VanValkenburg family. Mrs V. was a sweet wonderful woman from the day I met her, over 50 years ago. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this most difficult time.
