What a joy to have known this vivacious, witty lady. She was a Buffalo citizen who rightfully shared her love of her beautiful and interesting city with us. We are forever grateful for the times spent with her.

We want to send our heartfelt condolences to Dolores Seitz's family. Dolores was a wonderful woman: spry and lots of fun who enjoyed entertaining friends recounting her family lore. We especially enjoyed our time with Dolores and her husband, Bob. May they both rest in peace, together again. Monica and Tom McFadden

We are so sorry to hear of Aunt Dolores passing but know she's happy to be with Uncle Bob and the rest of the family. We have many fond memories of visits to Buffalo in the summers growing up. Much love and hugs to the family from the Schuneman's in Virginia.

We shared many good times with Aunt Deloris and Uncle Bob in Buffalo N.Y. Aunt Deloris lived a full life and I was fortunate to be there for part of it. I also got to see the video of her casting a ballot in an election when she was 100. Believe she drove to the polling place herself. The Video was sent to me by my daughter Michelle Rosenberg Schuneman.
We will all miss her. GOD Bless Aunt Deloris and her family, especially Marilyn.

Marilyn, I am so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. No matter what her age, her loss is tremendous. I fondly remember you telling stories about her at our GVQC table. I did make a donation to the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo in her memory, although there was no place on the online form to indicate that this was in your mom’s memory. I look forward to hearing more wonderful stories about your mom when our GVQC meetings resume.
Love,
Marcia Birken

I have many fond memories of Mrs. Seitz, but my fondest would have to include her lively presence at our Turtle gatherings. She was a marvelous raconteur at the dinner table. She also loved a good prank and was the perfect counterpoint to our friend Rita. The two of them enjoyed a special bond enlivened by humor that was a pleasure to behold. She was also a good listener and always showed great interest in our endeavors. What a truly lovable person she was! We will miss her greatly.

Dolores was the best Great Aunt ever! Amy and I enjoyed her and Suzanne's company and hospitality every time we travelled north to the "Ivyhurst Inn." We pray and hope as Dolores enjoys her final Journey home.

What I loved about Mrs. Seitz, is that she was a great story teller! She'd always get us laughing about the stories of her youth. And when she was with her beloved Mr. Seitz,(could never bring myself to call them Bob and Dolores), they were like a comedy team. Mr. Seitz of course the dry humored straight face guy, and She, the animated talker. She always seemed to be laughing which was infectious. The joy and life they brought to any small gathering made it a party! My mom and I will surely miss our mother /daughter luncheons Marilyn. My deepest sympathy, love and prayers are with you and your family. She was a character of strength, and I'm so honored to have been a small part of her life.
