Cheryl was a special friend of mine. She and I not only shared a name, but a love of animals and helping others. I will miss her dearly. May you rest in peace, sweet friend. Xo

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. As a veterinarian at Batavia Animal Hospital, I helped Cheryl care for her very beloved cats for many years. She was always gracious and determined, whether facing a health challenge for her pet or herself. She was a lovely person who I know will be deeply missed.

Cheryl was a good friend I met through FDMB (support grp for people with diabetic cats). Both insomniacs, we used to speak for hours late at night on the phone. Got to meet Cheryl in person a few times when she visited the SF Bay Area. We went beachcombing at Half Moon Bay where, true to form, Cheryl spent as much time removing trash from the beach as looking for shells and rocks. I knew she had been sleeping a lot her final months but no idea things were so serious. Sending special love and support for her dad and sisters. I know you lost your mom not long ago so this must be extra hard. Thinking of you and sending wonderful memories of Cheryl from San Francisco.

My sincerest condolences to all of Cheryl's family and friends. I worked at Batavia Animal Hospital many years ago now, and I still remember Cheryl very well, as she was a regular client. She was always so gentle and caring, not just to her pets, but to everyone around her. She put her all into everything she did. The world has truly lost a great woman. May she rest in peace and her memory live on forever and beyond.

Cheryl was my roommate in college at NAU, sophomore and junior year. We not only shared names (Cheryl Lynn) we shared a great friendship and many adventures together. We had a sign on our door "the 2 Cheryl's". She was a sweet, incredibly intelligent gal who was very social and everyone loved her. Unfortunately, I completely lost touch with her about 8 years ago. I know her battles with CFS were great, but she faced it all with fortitude and grace. It does not seem fair that someone with so much to give to this world is leaving her friends and family so soon. I never got to meet any of her family, but felt I knew a bit about each of them because we talked about our families a lot. I was shocked to learn she was diagnosed with cancer. This news caught me so off guard and brought me back to our days at NAU, like they were yesterday. Time is so elusive. Sending my sincere condolences to her family. She will be missed by many. <3
