Obituary of Douglas E. Elliott

Batavia -Douglas E. Elliott, 71 of Batavia, 22 year employee at McPherson Orchard in LeRoy, passed away on February 1, 2017 at Batavia Healthcare. Mr. Elliott was born May 13, 1945 in LeRoy, a son of the late Clifford (Alice Green) Elliott. He will be remembered by his family as a loving father and grandfather. He was predeceased by four brothers, Jim, Alan, Glenn, and Paul and four sisters, Wilma, Virginia, Beverly, and Nancy. He is survived by his daughters Melissa (Brian) Stringham of Stafford, and Lynn Allen of Batavia; three grandchildren Elaina Stringham, Zachary and Kaylei Allen; two sisters, Jackie Reynolds and Mary Woodridge; two brothers, Frank Elliott and Gary Elliott and several nieces and nephews survive. The family would like to thank the staff at UMMC for the care and compassion they have provided to our family. There will be a celebration of Doug's life at Billy Goats Restaurant, 345 West Main Street, Batavia on Saturday, February 4th from 11 am to 1 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
