Obituary of Dorothy Peet

Dorothy Peet, 89, of Batavia, passed away on Monday (February 6, 2017) at her home while under the care of her family and Homecare & Hospice. She was born June 14, 1927 in Caledonia, a daughter of the late James and Ruth Tennent. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, flowers and crafts. Survivors include her three sons, Robert (Leslie) Peet of Florida, Douglas (Donna) Peet of Batavia and Russell (Liza) Peet of LeRoy; grandchildren, Steven Peet, Scott (Amanda) Peet, Corey Baker, Amy Baker, Michael Peet, Kimberly (Brandon) Burns and Kevin Peet; a great-granddaughter, Isabella Peet. Dorothy is predeceased by her husband, Raymond L. Peet Jr., her son, Raymond L. Peet III and a sister, June. Calling hours are Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main St., Batavia. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday also at the funeral home. Dorothy will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery, Batavia.
