Der Jim, Jessica and Mary-Kate,
I was shocked when I read the Corning Leader a few days ago and learned of Carolyn's passing. I had seen that you had moved from the house on East William, but had no idea that Carolyn had been sick for a long time.
I will always remember Carolyn's kindness to me when our family lived next door to you many years ago. Our frequent chats, the trip to your cottage at Lake George, meals shared were an important part of my life then. The time she spent hours with me in the hospital after my surgery was a gift beyond measure. Her loving care of my parents as a nurse for Pathways was so appreciated and seeing her in the county building through the years was always a highlight of my day thanks to the laughter we always shared with one another.
Carolyn will be fondly remembered. She was a beautiful gift to us all. Please accept my sincere condolences in this time of loss.

Dear family of Carolyn-
I am so sorry for your loss. I am a Physical Therapist at IDMH in Bath and I worked with Carolyn multiple times!! She was such a pleasure and I was shocked to hear of her passing! It was wonderful to work with her!! She always made me smile during our time together and I always felt privileged that she would request me!! I hope to make it up there on Monday, but please know that all our staff here are mourning your loss as she was dear to our hearts as well!! If there is anything that we can do for you please do not hesitate to reach out to us!!
Thank you!!
